We expect our salespeople to be enthusiastic about learning the ins and outs of the equipment we sell and, just as importantly, learning how to communicate that information in an easy-to-understand, non-threatening way.
It may look simple but it’s not an easy job. While someone might be a “born salesperson”, most are not born a good salesperson. We’ll give you training on how to be the best, but you’ve got to be willing to listen and work hard at improving your skills.
Although the salespeople are the most visible members of Bjorn’s team, there are lots of other positions that need to be filled from time to time, including:
- office
- front counter
- warehouse
- service
- delivery
- and custom installation staff
It’s a fun-but fast-paced environment here at Bjorn’s, and the main requirements for our non-sales staff positions are that you’re willing to work hard at your job and willing to work hard helping us to make Bjorn’s better than ever.

Audio/Video Retail Sales
Skills required:
- Must be highly motivated to sell
- Initiative to develop new business
- Interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
- Computer literate in Word and Excel
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Must enjoy a fast-paced environment and working with people

Project Manager
Job Summary
To work directly with sales staff, installation and system designers to insure all projects signed and approved work according to proposals.
Key Job Resposibilities
- Works in conjunction with system designers to ensure that the proposed and signed projects run according to plan.
- Coordinates with scheduling on timelines and additional trades needed for each project.
- Ensures proposals are accurate and inclusive of all costs associated with each project including but not limited to components, wiring needs, labor, additional parts required and travel.
- Reviews all proposals prior to presenting to client to ensure accuracy.
- Presents systems solutions alongside salesperson to clients.
- Generates equipment lists and work orders based upon signed and approved proposals.
- Submits all necessary documents to the appropriate departments including warehousing, purchasing and scheduling.
- Coordinates with project manager on job scope, special needs and timelines associated with each project to be followed up with by the project manager.
Minimum Job Requirements
- High School diploma or greater.
- 5 years minimum working knowledge and experience with the consumer electronics industry.
- Working knowledge of all facets of MS Office.
- Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association (C.E.D.I.A) certified installer or designer preferred.
