12 outlet power strip designed specifically to be mounted to the vertical leg section of an equipment rack. This is the perfect way to extend the protection and filtration from an existing Panamax or Furman power conditioner.

Simply attach mounting clips in desired location for an easy installation. Snap the VT-EXT into clips for a sturdy and secure fit and plug into a Panamax/Furman power conditioner. The plastic spacers in clips provide ground isolation from the rack.

The MIP200 provides superior AC power protection with advanced line-to-neutral protection, utilizing a thermally protected metal-oxide varistor (TPMOV) to eliminate the common failure modes found in standard MOVs. In addition to surge protection, the MIP200 offers electromagnetic interference (EMI) filtering and programmable over/under voltage protection. This sophisticated protection system automatically switches off the outlets when unsafe voltage levels are detected and turns them back on only when the voltage is restored to safe operating levels.

Designed to accommodate various global power standards, the MIP200 is available with either 4 Type B (NEMA 5-15R) outlets with 2 receptacles each, or 4 Type F (CEE 7/3 or “Schuko”) outlets with 1 receptacle each. An always-on, unswitched outlet ensures continuous power to critical components, while the remaining outlets can be managed via the front panel, remote operation through the rear panel Power Control or RS232 ports, or configured as additional always-on outlets. Programmable delays for each outlet minimize inrush current, ensuring a safe startup for all connected devices and reducing the risk of tripping a circuit breaker.

AC power line protection is accomplished with the use of three thermally protected metal-oxide varistors (TPMOVs) – which are far safer than traditional MOVs – that provide you with Line to Neutral, Line to Ground and Neutral to Ground protection. For secondary surge events, the MPC500 provides protection for your ethernet, coaxial, and other low voltage devices via Gas Discharge Tubes (GDT), Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) thermistors and Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) components. Also included in the MPC500 is electromagnetic interference (EMI) filtering of the AC line and over/under voltage protection, which will switch off the rear receptacles to keep your connected devices safe from trying to operate at undesired voltage levels.

The MPC500 includes either 8 Type B (a.k.a. NEMA 5-15R) or 4 Type F1 (a.k.a. CEE 7/3 or “Schuko”) receptacles; only the appropriate version is available in each individual country to ensure compatibility with local power systems. Control of each receptacle can be configured to your preferences via the rear panel Power Control ports or through the setup menus on the front panel.

The front panel display can list input voltage, the amount of current being drawn through the receptacles, or total (apparent) power. Regardless of receptacle type, all versions of the MPC500 feature the timeless McIntosh black glass front panel, illuminated logo, control knobs, and aluminum end caps. At the heart of the MPC1500 is a large but quiet toroidal isolation transformer that has been specially wound to act as a low pass filter to remove unwanted noise from the AC line. The MPC1500 also employs a quick-acting surge suppression module that activates when the voltage reaches approximately 2V above nominal operating levels. This excess voltage is slowly and harmlessly released to the circuit’s neutral wire rather than the ground wire, where it could still find its way to your audio components and cause damage. Unlike surge protection devices that use other suppression methods or “power conditioners,” the MPC1500’s suppression module is not sacrificial and will not need replacing after a surge event.

The MPC1500 comes with either 6 medical grade Type B (a.k.a. NEMA 5-15R) duplex receptacles, or 6 high quality Type F (a.k.a. CEE 7/3 or “Schuko”) single receptacles. Only the appropriate version is available in each individual country to ensure compatibility with local power systems. Two of the receptacles are always active when the MPC1500 is plugged in. Control of the other 4 receptacles can be configured to your preferences via the rear panel Power Control switches. LED indicators on both the front and back show the current in-use state of each receptacle.

Our blue Watt meters have been repurposed to show the real time incoming voltage and the actual current draw of the connected devices. The meters will be scaled to the correct amperage and voltage based on the local country (e.g. the voltage meter will be scaled to 250 for countries that use the Type F receptacle). Regardless if the unit has Type B or Type F receptacles, all versions of the MPC1500 feature the timeless McIntosh black glass front panel with blue meters, an illuminated logo, control knobs, and aluminum end caps.
