Bowers & Wilkins DB Series Rosenut 10" Subwoofer

The DB2D subwoofer uses twin 10-inch Aerofoil cones identical to those found on the flagship 800 D3 loudspeaker. All powered by a highly-efficient 1000 Watt Class D amplifier.

Power and Subtle

With masses of power on tap, dual opposed drive units and an incredibly rigid cabinet that helps reduce distortion for deep, agile bass, the DB2D is the ideal subwoofer whatever the use scenario. It packs more than enough of a punch to excel at home cinema but is agile and precise enough to bring depth to stereo recordings.

Aerofoil for Precision Bass

The DB2D uses Aerofoil cones identical to those found in the 800 D3. These two 10-inch cones are light and ultra-stiff, and can resist bending and flexing far longer than conventional cones, delivering controlled bass with outstanding precision.

Balanced Drivers

The DB2D subwoofer uses two bass cones arranged in an opposed, balanced configuration that greatly reduces cabinet vibration and ensures a cleaner, more precise sound. The result: fantastic, coloration-free bass.

Digital

Thanks to an all-new digital pre-amplifier, the DB2D subwoofer’s awesome power is always delivered at optimum levels. Bespoke features such as Dynamic EQ and Room EQ ensure precision performance in every circumstance – such as home cinema, custom installation or two-channel Hi-Fi.

Dedicated App

App-based set-up means the DB2D is simple to configure and use. The App includes positioning guides and can be used to set up and control both output and audio preset modes. A room EQ system allows you to optimize the subwoofer’s performance for your room automatically. No separate microphone kit is required and the App is available for the iOS and the Android.

Perfect Partner

The DB2D is the obvious partner for a system built using the award-winning 800 series Diamond. It has been engineered and uses the same Aerofoil bass drivers. However, this incredibly capable subwoofer also works exceptionally well with the CM Series system, and provides a fantastic option for owners of this high-performance range.
